"Super Glass" Curtain Wall 

  
  With the smooth progress of the main building of the NorthGlass High-end Equipment Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as the Industrial Park), the "super glass" curtain wall of the NorthGlass R&D Center Building, a landmark project of the Industrial Park, has been successfully installed recently. The oversized, extra-thick, and overweight glass is neatly embedded in the center of the building, like a giant silver screen, which is extremely spectacular. These large one-way perspective and highly reflective glasses make the building unique and sparkling.
  
  
  

  Maximum Height of a Single Piece — 18.3 meters

  
  A total of 31 pieces of glass were installed on the facade of the R&D center building. There are 19 pieces on the south facade, with the largest height of 18.3 meters and 3 meters wide, 5-layer laminated insulating glass, and the heaviest single piece is 8.8 tons, achieving the highest comprehensive area, coating, and number of layers in the industry; 12 pieces on the north facade, with the largest height of 12 meters; the lobby entrance area is equipped with 8 pieces of 8-layer thick glass ribs, with a thickness of 126 mm. At the same time, there is a 20-meter-long and 6-meter-wide full-glass corridor connecting the building to the factory.
  
  
  

  The Latest Tempering Furnace Technology

  High-reflection Bight Silver Coating

  
  On the other hand, NorthGlass has also made breakthroughs in high-reflection bright silver coating and high-transparency double-silver Low-E energy-saving technology, and has successfully realized the research and development of ultra-large unidirectional perspective coating products with a maximum of 24 meters. While ensuring the privacy of the interior, it achieves high light transmittance, which makes the lobby and office area on the first floor of the R&D center building an ultimate visual effect of being integrated from top to bottom and smooth like a mirror.
  
  

  Pedestal Structure

  
  The industrial park project is the second super-large glass project independently installed by NorthGlass after the installation of 19 meters of self-supporting polygonal structural glass in the Culture and Art Center of Anji "Two Mountains" Future Science and Technology City. During the installation process, in addition to the glass rib support structure on the front, the two sides contain the floor area, and the pedestal connection cleverly used by NorthGlass is designed as a spring bearing to reduce the deformation of the panel under wind load in the later stage, which has better cushioning and adaptive characteristics.
