Representatives from Glass Associations Across China Visit NorthGlass to Discuss the Future of the Industry
On September 17, 2026, presidents, secretaries-general, and industry representatives from glass associations across China visited NorthGlass. Led by Mr. Zhang Zhong, President of the Luoyang Glass Industry Association, the delegation toured the NorthGlass High-End Equipment Industrial Park for an in-depth visit and industry exchange.
The delegation first visited NorthGlass’s production facilities, including the NorthGlass R&D Center and intelligent manufacturing workshops. They observed NorthGlass’s advanced equipment manufacturing processes and capabilities up close, and learned more about its glass automation lines and cast glass products, gaining first-hand insight into NorthGlass’s innovation capabilities in glass processing.
At the themed discussion session, Li Chunchao, Marketing Director of NorthGlass, warmly welcomed the guests and introduced the company’s development history, product portfolio, technological innovations, and future strategy.
Han Junfeng, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Tempering Equipment Division, reviewed the technological evolution of NorthGlass’s tempering equipment from the first to the fourth generation. He highlighted the intelligent innovations of the fourth-generation equipment, as well as the market advantages of advanced flat tempering and multi-curved, irregular-shaped bending tempering equipment. He also explained in detail how these technologies address key challenges such as glass flatness, fit accuracy, and stress patterns.
Sun Fangfang, Pre-Sales Engineer at NorthGlass Automation, presented NorthGlass’s smart glass factory solutions, highlighting the core strengths of its self-developed automation lines, ERP, and MES manufacturing systems.
Chen Yiman from ByteDance Feishu delivered a keynote presentation titled “In an Era of Growth Driven by Existing Markets, the Dual-Engine Strategy of Cost Reduction and Revenue Growth for Glass Companies — How Digital Tools in the AI Era Can Help the Industry Navigate the Cycle.” The presentation explored how AI can support digital transformation, improve efficiency, and reduce costs for enterprises.
Representatives from the glass associations then shared their perspectives and engaged in in-depth discussions on the current state of the industry, trends in industrial upgrading, industry collaboration, and pathways toward high-quality development. The session also provided an open platform for exchanging ideas and resources and exploring potential opportunities for cooperation.
In a relaxed and engaging atmosphere, industry peers deepened their communication and further established a platform for long-term collaboration and resource sharing between the associations and NorthGlass.
The event brought together representatives from across the glass industry. NorthGlass looks forward to continuing to deepen exchanges with glass associations and industry peers across China, and to exploring new pathways toward the high-quality development of the glass industry together.
