Deepening Industry Collaboration | Shanghai Curtain Wall Committee Visited NorthGlass
On April 24, a delegation from the Architectural Curtain Wall Committee of the Shanghai Society of Architecture, led by Director Huang Qiuping, Executive Deputy Director Meng Genbaoligao, and Secretary-General Zhang Hai, visited NorthGlass for inspection and in-depth discussion. Li Chunchao, Marketing Director of NorthGlass, together with the core marketing team, accompanied the visit and hosted the reception.
During the symposium, both parties focused on the overarching trend of high-quality industry development and strategies for deepening engagement in the Shanghai regional market, engaging in pragmatic alignment and in-depth dialogue. A key consensus was reached to leverage the upcoming exhibition tour marking 40 years of Shanghai’s architectural curtain wall achievements as an important opportunity to officially launch a normalized, in-depth strategic partnership between the association and NorthGlass. Centered on critical areas—including advancing key projects in Shanghai, implementing green and low-carbon concepts from the design stage, upgrading full lifecycle dedicated services for designers, optimizing specialized curtain wall glass design solutions, strictly controlling overall project costs, and comprehensively improving quality while reducing costs and increasing efficiency—both sides exchanged ideas, aligned development strategies, and laid a solid foundation for long-term collaboration in resource sharing, technical synergy, and joint project development.
During the visit, the delegation toured NorthGlass’s glass deep-processing manufacturing base, observing the intelligent, end-to-end production lines for high-end architectural glass and gaining detailed insights into the company’s full-chain standardized quality control system. The delegation highly recognized NorthGlass’s deep-rooted presence in the Shanghai market and commended its outstanding achievements in landmark curtain wall projects and benchmark developments, as well as its leading role in the industry.
As Shanghai enters a new phase of accelerated urban renewal and continuous advancement in green building, NorthGlass will further strengthen its comprehensive strategic cooperation with the Architectural Curtain Wall Committee of the Shanghai Society of Architecture. By enhancing resource sharing, empowering professional expertise, and deepening project collaboration, both sides aim to jointly promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the curtain wall industry, improve quality while reducing costs and increasing efficiency, and contribute to the high-quality and sustainable development of the construction sector.
