With 31 years of accumulated expertise behind it, NorthGlass is ushering in a new era of cast glass as the kiln fires up once again. Building on its extensive experience in high-end glass manufacturing and core process technologies, NorthGlass is breaking through the limitations of traditional handcrafted cast glass production. By applying modern, intelligent, and industrialized technologies to this millennia-old craft, NorthGlass is exploring new possibilities for cast glass in contemporary architecture.
President Gao Li noted that cast glass offers rich colors and distinctive textures. NorthGlass has transformed it from small-scale artistic installations into a new material for architectural façades, marking a significant breakthrough. Through strengthening treatments, NorthGlass has also addressed a long-standing challenge in the industry: the tendency of cast glass to crack or break after prolonged exposure to repeated cycles of heating and cooling.
Vice President Gao Qi noted that NorthGlass Cast Glass Company carries forward NorthGlass’s long-standing tradition of technology-driven development and has already demonstrated strong competitiveness during its trial production stage. “NorthGlass’s glass processing business focuses on three key areas: ultra-large glass, bent tempered glass, and cast glass. These are all key areas of interest for architects and designers. With everyone working together, I am confident that NorthGlass Cast Glass Company will have a bright future.”
Jin Mingxiang, General Manager of NorthGlass Cast Glass Company, said that the firing of the kiln is more than simply the start-up of a piece of equipment. It marks a new beginning that everyone has worked together to create and nurture.
Looking ahead, NorthGlass Cast Glass will leverage its intelligent kiln production line to continuously refine premium cast glass products and carry forward the spirit of architectural aesthetics. Driven by technological innovation, NorthGlass will continue to advance industrial upgrading, strengthen its foundation for growth through uncompromising quality, and expand the boundaries of high-end architectural materials.
