NorthGlass’ net profit in the first half of 2023 has increased by 237% year on year.
On August 29,2023, NorthGlass disclosed its 2023 semi-annual report. In the first half, NorthGlass achieved the operating income of 879.15 million yuan, up 20.54% year on year and the net profit was 79.9852 million yuan, an increase of 236.83% year on year, the non-net profit was 75.7577 million yuan, up 333.35% year-on-year.
According to the report, NorthGlass is the only listed A-share company producing and operating glass tempering equipment. The continuous tempered glass production equipment independently developed can be used for the production and processing of photovoltaic glass. In the first half of this year, the operating income of the sector of tempered glass production equipment was about 402.98million yuan, accounting for 45.84% of the operating income, an increase of 6.74% compared with the same period of last year.
Deep processing glass is another pillar industry. In the first half of the year, the operating income of this sector was about 348.58million yuan, accounting for 39.65% of the operating income, an increase of 32.31% compared with the same period of last year. In addition, the company has a light stone project in the world, which is a new green wall material with silicon-based solid waste as the main raw material, and has an interactive effect with the company’s existing deep processing glass products, and the market influence has been further consolidated.
