Leaders from Guangdong Glass Industry Association and CTC Visited NorthGlass to Explore New Paths for Green and High-Quality Industry Development
On April 21, Secretary-General Chen Lin of the Guangdong Glass Industry Association, Han Song, General Manager of the Glass Division of China Testing & Certification International Group (CTC), and Chief Engineer Wang Lei visited the NorthGlass Shanghai base for research and exchange. They were warmly received by Li Chunchao, Marketing Director of NorthGlass Co., Ltd., and Gao Fuxiao, Factory Director of the Shanghai base of the Glass Processing Business Unit. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including technological and quality upgrading, green and low-carbon transformation, carbon footprint accounting, and ESG system development.
During the visit, the delegation toured the production base and the high-end product exhibition area, with a focus on NorthGlass’s latest achievements in fully automated production processes, ultra-high-precision bent tempering technology, and Low-E coating technology. Driven by continuous technological innovation, NorthGlass has achieved both reduced energy consumption and improved product yield rates, with its high-end products widely applied in key projects across China and overseas. The visiting leaders highly commended NorthGlass for its long-term commitment to technological innovation and its continuous delivery of ultra-high-quality products to the industry. They also expressed strong appreciation for NorthGlass’s strategic focus on brand development, its garden-style factory planning, and the highly refined management of its production workshops. They stated that they will continue to strongly support enterprises like NorthGlass—companies with solid technological strength, relentless pursuit of product excellence, and comprehensive, high-quality service capabilities.
During the symposium, the three parties engaged in in-depth discussions on industry development trends and technological directions, reaching a consensus on future cooperation. In the next stage, they will focus on strengthening collaboration in areas such as joint development of industry standards, green product certification, exploration of dual-carbon pathways, and high-end technological synergy, jointly promoting technological advancement and green transformation across the industry.
