NorthGlass Showed at China Glass 2026 with Innovative Products Capturing Full Attention
On April 7, 2026, the China Glass 2026 grandly opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. At this exhibition, NorthGlass participated under the theme “Intelligent Leadership for the Future · Craftsmanship Reaching Far,” comprehensively showcasing its latest achievements in high-end equipment, intelligent manufacturing, and high-end curtain wall glass. A number of flagship exhibits attracted significant attention from professional visitors, drawing continuous engagement and on-site demonstrations. NorthGlass booth was bustling with activity throughout the event, with a steady flow of inquiries and business discussions, making it one of the focal points of the entire exhibition.
On the opening day of the exhibition, a distinguished delegation visited the NorthGlass booth for inspection and guidance, including Gao Ruiping, President of the Chinese Ceramic Society; Peng Shou, Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the International Commission on Glass and Chief Scientist of China National Building Material Group; Zhang Baiheng, President of the China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association; Zhi Xiao, Chairman of China Building Materials Academy Co., Ltd.; and Jin Zhanping, Secretary-General of the Chinese Ceramic Society. Senior representatives from government and trade promotion institutions, industry organizations, and manufacturers from countries such as Italy and Germany were also present. The delegation spoke highly of NorthGlass’s innovative achievements and expressed strong recognition of its technological advancements.
At this exhibition, NorthGlass showcased its 4th-Generation A-series Tempering Furnace, which achieves a breakthrough upgrade in temperature control and tempering efficiency through a precise heating algorithm and a newly designed air distribution system. The on-site smart factory integrated solution model demonstrated a complete automated workflow for glass deep processing, attracting numerous overseas clients for business discussions and cooperation inquiries. In the coating segment, upgraded core components such as end-seal systems and magnetic rods, along with the latest application solutions in the field of thin-film solar cells, also drew significant attention and technical exchanges from professional visitors. The Triturbo energy-saving fan, integrating permanent magnet direct drive technology with tri-flow aerodynamic design, delivers Class 1 energy efficiency and over 30% energy savings, redefining industry standards for industrial energy conservation.
The most popular exhibit on site was the 3D multi-curved glass used in the global headquarters of OPPO in Shenzhen. Despite its complex multi-curved geometry, it delivers remarkably clear and distortion-free imaging, prompting visitors to frequently take photos and admire its exceptional craftsmanship. Another highly acclaimed highlight was the glass art curtain wall system, featuring vibrant colors and rich textural depth. Its striking visual impact left a lasting impression, with a constant flow of professional visitors and designers gathering at the booth for close observation and discussion.
As a long-standing exhibitor of the China Glass Expo, NorthGlass has participated in the exhibition for 31 consecutive years to date. In 1994, NorthGlass successfully developed China’s first horizontal roller hearth tempering furnace, marking the beginning of domestic independence in glass deep-processing equipment and opening a new chapter for the industry. Over the past three decades, NorthGlass has consistently evolved in step with the industry, driving technological progress and industrial upgrading. It has witnessed - and actively contributed to - the transformation of China’s glass deep-processing sector from an emerging field with no foundation to a global leader, moving from a follower to an industry frontrunner.
