On May 29, 2025, the 34th China International Glass Industry Technical Exhibition concluded successfully at the China International Exhibition Center. With the theme “NorthGlass at 30: Creating the Future Together,” NorthGlass showcased its latest achievements in high-end equipment, intelligent manufacturing, and green building materials. The booth attracted extensive attention, breaking records in contract volume, product categories, and total value.

On the opening day, several industry leaders visited the NorthGlass booth, including:

Yan Xiaofeng, President of the China Building Materials Federation; Chen Guoqing, Executive Vice President; Peng Shou, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Engineer of CNBM; Jin Zhanping, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Ceramic Society; Zhang Baiheng, President of the China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association. Mr. Gao Li, Vice Chairman and President of NorthGlass, personally hosted the visit. He introduced recent breakthroughs in technological innovation and product development, such as: advancements in architectural glass processing, breakthroughs in cast glass curtain wall systems, prefabricated light-stone housing systems for green building. The presentation received high praise and recognition from the visiting experts.

Technology Matrix That Drew the Spotlight

Tempering Technology: Reaching New Heights

The 4th-generation high-end tempering furnace achieved breakthroughs in temperature control and cooling systems. A precision heating algorithm significantly improves transformer efficiency, while newly developed air-blast nozzles based on fluid simulation boost performance—setting a new industry benchmark.

Smart Manufacturing: Automation in Full Swing

NorthGlass’ automated smart factory solutions are now widely used in architecture, home appliances, photovoltaics, and sanitary ware. The upgraded MES smart flexible production line has further improved system stability and efficiency, drawing strong interest from international clients.

Coating Technology: Continuous Innovation

At the show, NorthGlass presented upgrades to core components such as cathodes and magnets. It also demonstrated breakthroughs in large-format architectural glass coating and cutting-edge applications in solar thin-film cells.

Energy-Saving Triturbo Fan: A New Industry Benchmark

The energy-saving triturbo fan combines permanent magnet direct drive and advanced aerodynamic technology to achieve first-class energy efficiency. This solution reduces energy consumption by over 30% in industrial systems, defining a new green standard.

Diverse Products, Leading the Future

The integration of art and function: “Quiet Haven” Acoustic Room: Reduces noise by 48 dB; “Iceberg” cast glass curtain wall: Pristine white façade that became a social media hotspot; Modular Housing & Unitized Curtain Wall Systems: A highlight in green building; World’s First Triple-Chamber High-Temperature Furnace: Increases output by 30%, reduces energy use by 60%, and enables zero direct carbon emissions—supporting the green transformation of ceramics and glass.

During the exhibition, NorthGlass welcomed nearly 3,000 visitors from over 40 countries across six continents, including the U.S., Japan, India, Germany, France, the U.K., Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Signed projects covered a wide range of fields, from tempering furnaces and automation lines to curtain wall systems.

As one of the earliest participants in the China Glass Expo, NorthGlass has exhibited for 30 consecutive years. Since developing China’s first horizontal roller-hearth tempering furnace in 1994, NorthGlass has led the localization of glass processing equipment. Over the past three decades, NorthGlass has grown alongside the industry, driving technological progress and industrial upgrading. From “made in China” to “created in China,” NorthGlass has played a key role in transforming the nation’s glass deep-processing sector. Now, as it celebrates its 30th anniversary, NorthGlass stands poised for a new journey of high-quality development—continuing to lead the industry and shape the future.
