The 7th China Processing Glass Industry Leading Entrepreneurs Summit Meeting

Recently, the 7th China Processing Glass Industry Leading Entrepreneurs Summit Meeting (G30 Summit), sponsored by China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. Tianjin NorthGlass was honored as one of the "top 30 enterprises of processed glass in China in 2018", which is the sixth time that the company has won the honor. G30 Summit is an industry summit held by the top 30 enterprises in glass technology, processing, design, mechanical equipment and other fields, which is selected by China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association. The purpose of the summit is to analyze the current industry dynamics and economic development situation at home and abroad, collect and discuss the problems restricting the development of the industry and enterprises, formulate the "action plan" of the summit, and help the future development of the industry and enterprises. It is a grand event of great concern.

The theme of this summit is "reform and innovation, win-win cooperation, leading development". At the summit, Zhang Baiheng, President of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, delivered a keynote report entitled "strengthening self-discipline and autonomy of the industry and promoting high-quality development of the glass industry in the new era". It is learned that ‘’the seventh G30 action plan‘’ was finally reached at the summit. Focusing on the action plan, G30 enterprises will continue to increase technology research and development, improve the level of automation, adapt to the national economic transformation and upgrading and industrial restructuring policies, promote industry autonomy, and realize the healthy development of enterprises.

The 11th Congress of China Construction Metal Structure Association

On December 2, 2019, the 11th member congress and the first meeting of the 11th Council of China Construction Metal Structure Association was held in Beijing Conference Center. During the conference, a number of enterprises and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the industry and association were commended. Tianjin NorthGlass was awarded the title of "Outstanding Contribution Enterprise of the Industry in The 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Up".

China Glass Industry Annual Conference and Technology Seminar 2019

On February 5, the China Glass Industry Annual Conference and Technology Seminar 2019, sponsored by China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, was successfully held in Chengdu. Mr. Gao Qi, vice president of NorthGlass and general manager of Tianjin NorthGlass, was awarded the "Advanced Worker of the Association 2018", in recognition of his active participation in the work of the association, his concern for the development of the industry and his contributions to the glass deep processing industry.

More than 600 representatives of entrepreneurs, experts and scholars, research institutions, industry organizations, well-known manufacturers and media representatives from all provinces of China gathered here to discuss the development and the future of the industry! At the conference, Qiao Longde, president of China Building Materials Federation made an important speech, expressing his hope for a bright future of the glass industry. He stressed the importance of unified understanding and thinking; the orientation of high-quality development of the glass industry; and put forward eight goals for the future development of the glass industry: first, goals of technological innovation; second, elimination of backward production capacity; third, structural adjustment; fourth, goals of energy conservation and emission reduction; fifth, ban non-standard products; sixth, coordinated development of the industrial chain; seventh, price stability of flat glass, eighth, establish a four-in-one development.
