On May 11, 2017, the construction of Boeing 737 Delivery Center started in Zhoushan Aviation Industrial Park. The center is mainly engaged in interior installation, painting and delivery support services for 737 aircraft delivered to customers, with a planned delivery capacity of 100 aircraft per year.

Just 19 months later, Boeing and COMAC delivered the first aircraft at the 737 Delivery Center in Zhoushan, which took over by Air China.

The Boeing project, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, covers an area of 40 hectares and a construction area of about 60,000 square meters. It consists of two parts—737 Delivery Center jointly owned by Boeing and COMAC and the Aircraft Delivery Center wholly owned by Boeing in the same location. It is known as Boeing's first and largest project outside the United States.

Since the beginning of the Boeing project, it has been fully followed up and coordinated by all parties. NorthGlass Shanghai Company has undertaken the processing project of curtain wall glass. Shanghai glass company has equipped the Delivery Center with a variety of products, including double silver low-e composite toughened insulated glass, double silver single curved toughened insulated glass, double silver low-e fan-shaped double-curved toughened insulated glass, etc, with a total area of more than 8,000 square meters. Due to the variety and complexity of the specifications, especially the fan-shaped double-curved toughened technology, high precision is required and the processing is difficult. However, for Shanghai Company, which has many experiences in processing multi-varieties, multi-procedures and special-shaped glass projects, the project is running smoothly. After three months, Shanghai Company has provided the perfect products.

In early 2019, the Boeing 737 Delivery Center was built with 12 buildings of different functions.

"The efficiency and the speed of the project can be described as' incredible '." Boeing China President John Bruns praised.

The Boeing project shows the customer the speed, the quality and the service of NorthGlass. To realize the Chinese aviation dream, a more ambitious aviation industry blueprint is being drawn.
