From 25th, Jan. to 26th, Jan., 2018, NorthGlass held her executive meeting to make a 2017 work summary and make work plans for 2018.

Mr. Gao Li, President of NorthGlass Group, chaired the meeting, making a brief report of the whole company’s business situation in 2017. Mr. Gao said, 2017 was a difficult year as a whole, while a couple of business units still had an explosive sales volume growth, and some business units stopped loss and began to make profit in the second half year. He stated that this meeting was more important than previous ones, since a more strategic brain-storming business plan was needed to work out for more stable growth in 2018.

Following President Gao’s speech, 4 functional divisions and 14 business units made their work summaries in 2017 and briefed their work plans in 2018 respectively.

Then, Mr. Gao Xueming, Chairman of NorthGlass Group, gave his comments. He said, the business growth of Tempering Furnace Business Unit was remarkable in 2017 and kept quite stable over the past few years under the leadership of Mr. Gao Li. Tempering Furnace Business Unit was the foundation of the whole company business and established a benchmark for other business units of the company. Meanwhile, Chairman Gao also specially gave his praises to Fan Business Unit, Shanghai Glass Business Unit and Shanghai Coated Glass Business Unit for their positive business growth in 2017.

In the end, President Gao again put emphasis on “product quality” and “ technology innovation” as NorthGlass’s core competence. The assurance of product quality needed flexible control of every single process, including raw material procurement, manufacture process, manufacture flow, quality inspection, etc.. And the assurance of technology innovation needed human resources backing-up, sufficient investment, enough concentration as well as long-term planning.
