NorthGlass A-series Continuous Tempering Furnace (Customer Factory Site in Shanxi, China)

On 18th, Jan., 2018, NorthGlass received an exciting feed back from one of a domestic customer in Shanxi: NorthGlass Continuous Tempering Furnace for 2.5mm glass had passed acceptance test and was successfully put into production! The performance of this furnace improves the processing of 2.5mm tempered glass to a certain high level: The patterned solar glass panel with the size of 985mm×1980mm, reaches the quality results of general bow<1.5‰, edge lift <0.35mm, roller wave (middle part)

Early in 2015, NorthGlass started the development of continuous tempering furnace for 2.5mm tempered glass production. At that moment, 2.5mm tempered glass with good quality results seemed to be a target impossible. However, 3 years constant research and development efforts finally turn the “impossible” into “possible”. This is a big technological leap, not only for NorthGlass, but also for the whole glass processing industry.
