On 10th, Nov., 2017, the first FENESTRATIONBAU China Exhibition concluded successfully. In this exhibition, covering an area of 100,000 square meters, totally 625 domestic and foreign exhibitors participated and exhibited their own up-to-date technologies and solutions in Chinese architecture industry.

Glass business units from NorthGlass Tianjin, Shanghai, Luoyang and Beijing, led by president of NorthGlass Group, Mr. Gao Li, attended this grand gathering. On the opening day, a special delegation having secretary of Germany State, force inspector of Shanghai Housing and Urban-rural Construction Management Committee, president of European Door & Window Association as well as CEO of Germany Peputy Group came over and visited NorthGlass stand. President Gao of NorthGlass warmly received them and gave an introduction of both the company and exhibits in detail to them. They were all quite impressed by the jumbo curved tempered glass exhibited on the stand.

This time, NorthGlass brought her two new processed glass product samples on the stand —— convex & concave glass with the size of 3600 mm (arc length) x 3200 mm and curved tempered glass with the size of 8000 mm (arc length) x 4000 mm, with the longest arc length in the world.

During the 4-day exhibition, NorthGlass stand attracted many special visitors, such as RFR, China Resources, Longfor Properties, Landsea Properties, China Construction Metal Structure Association (CCMSA), Shanghai Academy of Architecture, Suzhou Real Estate Industry Association, The Architectural Design & Research Institute of East China, The Architectural Design & Research Institute of Tongji University, etc.. In the words of people from RFR, “Such a large curved tempered glass is really a stunning work. NorthGlass is a genuine innovation practitioner.” In retrospect, the reason why NorthGlass decided to produce the glass panel with such long arc length was that one of architectural designers unintentionally expressed the desire for making it possible. As a leading manufacturer of glass tempering furnace and producer of processed glass, NorthGlass attached great importance to technology innovation and spared no effort to turning “impossible” to “possible”so as to support more architectural design ideas coming true.

During the exhibition, the first “ Master Forum “ — Dialogue on Urban Architecture was held in Shanghai New International Expo Centre, which was hosted by Mr. Ding Haomin, the chief engineer of The Architectural Design & Research Institute of Tongji University. In the keynote speeches, representative project cases of NorthGlass were taken for typical references to make forward-looking ideas of future architectural design and applications.

In these years, NorthGlass continuously set new world records of tempered glass production, bringing more possibilities for façade innovative designs.
