Facades+ (Facades Plus) is a multidisciplinary conference concept in the USA which concerns about innovation and design in and around high performance building enclosures, bridging the gap between architectural façade design and materials. This year, Facades+ is happening in seven (7) US cities including New York, Washington D.C., Boston, Austin, Philadelphia, Los Angeles & Seattle.

Facades+ LA 2017 was a 2-day conference in Los Angeles that united top professionals from the worlds of design, fabrication, and construction to consider how high performance envelopes contribute to and are shaped by LA’s unique architectural landscape. The event inspired attendees who learned how to innovate all steps of façade implementation – from systems and materials to design and delivery strategies.

Tianjin NorthGlass participated as a Silver Sponsor of this conference which included a table-top exhibition throughout the entire day of the seminar. This gave North Glass the unique opportunity to present its brand and capabilities to the entire group of around 485 professional conference attendees.

Tianjin NorthGlass was the only exhibitor of specialized and oversized glass at this event. We have had more than 100+ deep discussions with contractors and architects at our exhibition table related to potential business in current and future projects. Our NorthGlass exhibition table included physical samples of concave & convex shaped bent insulating glass with our own TNG single-silver low-e coating, a TSSA®-bonded glass step sample as well as samples with laminated SEFAR® mesh and an insulating glass incorporated aluminum screen. Samples have been customized to the Los Angeles market as TNG currently works on multiple projects which incorporate those glass solutions into their façade designs and specifications.
