2026 NorthGlass Cup “Within the Frame” Architectural Photography Competition Successfully Held at NorthGlass Luoyang Base

Recently, the highly anticipated 2026 NorthGlass Cup “Within the Frame” Architectural Photography Competition concluded successfully at the NorthGlass Luoyang Base.

 


Organized by Architectural Technique Magazine and sponsored by NorthGlass, the competition received enthusiastic responses since its launch. More than 600 entries were submitted by architects and photography enthusiasts from across China, capturing moments where architectural technology meets artistic expression, the profound dialogue between architecture and nature, as well as between people and space.

 



 

As the title sponsor of the competition, NorthGlass has always been committed to promoting innovation and application in architectural glass technology.

 

During the event, NorthGlass specially organized the judging panel to visit the NorthGlass Luoyang High-End Equipment Industrial Park for an on-site inspection. Covering an area of 340,000 m², the industrial park is a high-end equipment manufacturing base integrating R&D, design, manufacturing, and sales for glass deep-processing equipment. It is dedicated to creating a smart equipment manufacturing industrial park serving global markets.

 

The park has developed into a comprehensive high-end equipment industrial complex integrating advanced equipment manufacturing, automated and intelligent production, international trade, and technological innovation, providing solutions for the entire industry and serving customers worldwide.

 

Through this visit, the experts gained a deeper understanding of NorthGlass’s unique development model driven by the dual engines of “Equipment + Glass”, as well as its advanced intelligent manufacturing capabilities.

The competition invited 11 renowned experts from the architectural community to form the judging panel, bringing together an impressive lineup of experts.

 

Following the principles of openness, fairness, and impartiality, the judging process adopted a comprehensive evaluation system combining expert review (80%) and WeChat voting (20%). Entries were assessed from multiple perspectives, including originality, uniqueness, and relevance to the competition theme.

 

After the preliminary review, 40 works were shortlisted for the WeChat voting stage (click here to view the outstanding shortlisted works). Following two additional rounds of on-site evaluation, all shortlisted entries were carefully discussed and reviewed.

The final results included three Second Prize winners (with no First Prize awarded), six Third Prize winners, nine Excellence Award winners, and one Popularity Award winner.
