Hand in Hand for Win-Win ——Business Stories between Saint-Gobain and NorthGlass
NorthGlass started business cooperation with Saint-Gobain in 2005, initially provided Saint-Gobain with small-size glass tempering furnace for coating system development and coating quality test. In 2013, NorthGlass started international marketing of the 5th generation AG-Series & AU-glass beyond Saint-Gobain’s expectation and were well received by end users.
To further testify the technical innovativeness of NorthGlass AG-Series furnace, furnace technical expert from Saint-Gobain headquarter came all the way from Paris to Tianjin NorthGlass to conduct stricter production test on one AG-15B50 furnace used for 2 years. In this test, three kinds of raw glass (Triple-Ag Extreme 6028, E=0.007; High-reflective KS138, E=0.035; Double-Ag SKN165, E=0.01) with the highest processing difficulty among Saint-Gobain coated glass products were chosen as test specimen and unsurprisingly optimal results were obtained as required by Saint-Gobain with regard to general bow, roller wave, edge lift, stress, granularity, iridescence, etc..
Since then, NorthGlass received furnace orders from Saint-Gobain one after another. In May, 2017, Saint-Gobain signed a framework agreement of furnace procurement with NorthGlass, which means the cooperation between the two sides are much closer and more fruitful!
